Being an Anti-Racist

Capitol Hill Books stands with our friends, colleagues, and neighbors protesting systemic racism, injustice, and police violence. Rightfully, we have received a number of requests for The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin, How To Be An Anti-Racist by Ibram X. Kendi, and White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism by Robin Diangelo. Copies are on the way, but with delays of at least a week. If you want to reserve one of those or another book, email us. We ship and can do curbside pick-up. You may also consider donating to an organization such as Black Futures Lab, Color of Change, or Black Visions Collective

Virtual Book Fair

We will have a booth at Getman's Virtual Book and Paper Fair, opening today at noon, through Thursday.  In our 'booth' you'll see Second Wave Feminist Newspapers, a signed James Baldwin, and a couple of interesting archives. Worth a look at ours and the 100 or so other dealer booths.

 Stay strong out there everyone.
