We are as anxious and excited about reopening as you are! We are almost there. At this time, we are tentatively reopening next week. We will share more later this week. The basics of what you can expect are:
11 people are able to be in the library at a time.
Masks must be worn if you intend to browse the collection or use the computers.
2 computers are available by appointment for a 30 minute timeframe.
We are super excited that the Summer Reading Program has started! We know things will look very different this year - we even have a new website for tracking your reading! - but we have some fun activities planned throughout the Summer.
To register for the Summer Reading Program, visit the new website at lansing.beanstack.org. You can create an account for yourself or a family account with multiple readers to make tracking everyone's reading easier! We will host a "Beanstack 101" webinar Tuesday, June 2nd at 4:00 PM and will post the video to Facebook and our website for those who can't make it.
This summer we are starting a new tradition - Brag Tags! Add beads to your tag for every book you read or activity you complete this Summer and show off your accomplishments to all your friends!
There will be one grand prize for each age category this year and your are automatically entered into the drawing as soon as you log your first book!
We have lots planned and will be sharing more throughout the summer- so keep an eye out!
