Pending appropriate Licensing approvals, this has been rescheduled to 19 September.
Local performers are invited down to share their musical talents and provide a diverse ensemble of entertainment. Hosted by Mark Muffler. Starts Sunday 28 June from 5pm and every last Sunday of the month thereafter.
FEATURE MUSIC EVENTS Bigger band performances will again be part of the Dinah events calendar during the dry and beyond as we ease back into the new normal. More info shortly.
PROJECTS ON THE GO
CAREENING POLES The replacement poles are now in position and looking good.
As an additional project the Management Committee has determined to invest in the upgrade of the concrete basin - improving the safety and functionality of the pole 1 slab which will then provide another site for contaminant removal. Additional concrete works include extra strengthening measures around the new poles which incorporates extending the concrete into the pole 4 area. Works are currently underway to be completed next week then we wait for the concrete to be cured.
Revised Poles open date: 22 June.

PERMANENT SHADE STRUCTURE OVER SIDE BAR AREA
Construction is underway with footings and columns being installed, with the roof assembly next week. The side bar area will be available for use for tomorrow's re-opening.

Major Community Benefit Fund application outcome - unsuccessful.
WHARF PILLAR MAINTENANCE Immediate Works Grant application - unsuccessful due to lack of certification evidence - appealing whilst we source historic information. An SGM will be called shortly regarding these essential maintenance works.
YACHT RACING
Fair winds for Red Knot, Terminall II and Wallop who are taking part in the Tiwi Islands Yacht Race this long weekend. Start line off East Point at 9am Sat 06 June.
The first blue water race in Australia since Covid kicked in.
'RACE 10' SOCIAL YACHT RACE - SUNDAY 21 JUNE
To make up for the cancelled Wet Season Series Race 9. Come wet your bows and stretch your sails in the inner harbour.
Sign-on: Friday 19 June at the DBCYA clubhouse. Course available prior.
