ODEON 16 Released!

Version 16 of the ODEON Room Acoustics software has been released with many enhancements and new features:

• Extended CAD compatibility that supports a great range of file formats:.dwg, .dxf, .3ds, .stl, .obj .step, .stp, .iges, igs, and .ply. 
• Enhanced sweep measurement tool in the measurement system, which allows for better signal to noise ratio by customizing speed of sweep as a function of time. 
• Support of 1st order Ambisonic measurements, using the Zoom H3 VR probe in ODEON Auditorium and Combined. This makes it possible to calculate parameters like LF80, study intensity components of decay in 3D Hedgehogs and listen to 3D auralisations of measurements using a virtual dummy head.   
• Interactive graphs added in the point-response results of ODEON Auditorium and Combined. In this way, you can track reflections in 3D Reflectograms and intensity components of decay in 3D Hedgehogs.
• Many additions in the interface make it easy to edit positions of sources and receivers, read distances in models and manage multiple versions of materials in rooms.
• A 3DMatrix tool, available in ODEON Industrial and Combined, derives room acoustics parameters from all source to source combinations in the room, which facilitates the study of the interaction between musicians in a concert hall or co-workers in an open-plan office.

Make sure your license is up-to-date

With valid maintenance & support agreement, you can enjoy ODEON 16 right away. If your agreement has expired, it is worth considering to upgrade to benefit from all the improvements and to be able to receive dedicated support from our technical team. All four editions can be downloaded from this page. To be able to run ODEON 16, your dongle needs to be updated too. You can always check which version of ODEON your dongle is valid for. Basic Course in Room Acoustics

We are happy to announce that our Basic Course in autumn is scheduled for the 28 and 29 September 2020, according to the plan. As the borders seem to open to/from Denmark, the course is planned to take place at our premises at Kgs. Lyngby. In the event of a new lockdown, the course will take place online, stretched over more days of fewer hours/day. We will do our best for you to benefit the most in such a situation, keeping a good balance between web-lectures, hands-on assignments and many Q&A sessions.  Make sure to book your seat on time to become an experienced ODEON user.
