Robert Brumet, author

of Finding Yourself in Transition

I am so very happy to announce that Robert Brumet the author of the book we will be studying this summer will launch our summer sermon series this Sunday. Robert is very well known throughout Unity as a teacher, writer, and spiritual director. He conducts a variety of retreats, seminars, and classes that focus on meditation, self-awareness, and spiritual development. Robert has presented his programs at over 150 churches and retreat centers throughout the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Brumet was Chairman of Pastoral Studies at Unity Institute and Seminary, where he taught from 1989 to 2016. He is the author of four books and over a dozen magazine articles. Brumet is a teacher of Insight Meditation with certification from Spirit Rock Meditation Center. He is also a Spiritual Director, with certification from Mt St Scholastica College. Robert was ordained a Unity minister in 1980 and has served churches in Indiana and Kansas.

Robert was the 2012 recipient of Unity Worldwide Ministries Light of God Expressing Award and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree by Unity Institute and Seminary in 2016. He has B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Toledo. He currently resides in Kansas City MO.
