Some of the items throughout the store have seen price changes recently or will see some changes in the near future. Why is this occurring?
Background
- Four Seasons Local Market is a unique concept with 4 family farms (owners) supplying, stocking, and operating the store week in and week out. Each family is tasked with providing a high quality product to our customers at a cost that makes it feasible to continue to operate.
New Pricing:
- Shannon Family Farms and Gillenwater Farms - Both farms received a message that processing costs will increase by 10% effective June 1. There are many reasons for this and were laid out in an email from This Old Farm. We would be happy to share that email if you ask. New PPE, supply, and demand are contributing factors.
- Shady Rail - Ingredients and availability of ingredients have caused an increase in costs. After being open for over 3 years with no price adjustments, an increase is necessary on some items.
- Silver Valley Farm adjusts prices based on costs for raising animals and ingredient costs for other times. A recent adjustment was made and their prices are always being evaluated.
We continue to thank you for support of Local Food provided by Local Faces right here in Montgomery County. If there are concerns or questions about pricing, each owner would happily address those with you.

Fill out the order form and we will email you an invoice to pay based on what is in stock and available at the time of ordering. Once you receive an invoice, you may pick-up your order. Your order is not ready until you receive an invoice. We are doing our best to have things in stock and get orders packed as quickly as possible. Include special requests or sizes at the top of the form. Please allow 24 hours to fulfill an order once we open.
NOTE: Baked Goods orders must be placed by 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday each week. Orders for baked goods after that will be filled with what is available at the store on Thursday.
