Stepping Stones Service Update

Hello and welcome to the June 2020 edition of our newsletter. I hope this newsletter finds you well. We are moving towards the recovery phase of the pandemic.  Our main office is open normal hours. If you need to speak to anyone contact us 01419412929 or via email on admin@stepstones.org.uk.

We managed to access some funding from the Scottish Government, to design and distribute face coverings for our members. The current guidance from the Scottish Government states that it is good practice to wear a face covering when indoors, such as in shops or on public transport, when physical distancing is not possible.

We have had some great ideas from our members about the design of the face coverings and we will continue to have some fun with this!  The first batch will be with us soon and we will test this batch out before contacting members about how we are going to distribute them.

Finally, our previous e-bulletins can be accessed in the link below.

The Big Disability Virtual Open Day

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic The Big Disability Group had to cancel their fourth annual open day. But that hasn't stopped them! They decided to create a  virtual one instead. This means that everyone can access all the information and support they need from the comfort and safety of their own home.

You'll find Stepping Stones as one of the stalls along with many other groups in the local area.
