Staying Safe/Staying Connected...
We are missing YOU!
Week Five:
Baby Antoinette Cromer - FaceTiming with Mom at work!
(Must already be tech savvy enough to watch GVUMC's Livestream!)
Baby Antoinette Cromer will help us each week focus on how she is keeping healthy with her Mommy and Daddy, Mason and Anne. If you would send a picture of how you are keeping healthy and staying safe it will help us all connect and smile as we continue to follow our quarantine expectations.
We would love to include how you are staying safe!
Please send your pictures to communications@gvumc.org
June Communion Offering will be for GVUMC's Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry at Green Valley UMC, Henderson, NV
Stephen Ministers are laypeople trained to provide one-to-one Christ-centered care. They have a compassionate heart for those who are hurting, and they’re equipped with caring ministry skills. A Stephen Minister has one care receiver at a time and meets with that person once a week to listen, care, pray, encourage, and offer emotional and spiritual support.
Our Stephen Ministers provide care to individuals facing difficult times in life—grief, cancer, divorce, financial difficulties, hospitalization, chronic illness, job loss, disability, loneliness, a spiritual crisis, or other life struggles.
All Stephen Ministers are volunteers and receive no compensation to do this caring ministry. The offerings received on this communion Sunday help to alleviate the costs of materials and training.
We currently have approximately 15 active Stephen Ministers at Green Valley. Thank you for your support.
