We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Befriending Death session with James Woodward, from 1 to 2pm on Sunday 31 May 2020 via Zoom.
Before his presentation, James will ask you to introduce yourself and to say something about why you wished to join the session and what you'd like from the experience.

A few words about Zoom:
If you haven't already downloaded Zoom and wish to do so, visit www.zoom.us. There is an alternative for running it in your web browser, if you'd prefer.
You will need a broadband internet connection, microphone, speakers and webcam to participate in this session.
How does it work? Think of a Zoom Meeting as a face-to-face meeting and conduct yourself as you would if you were all present in the same room.
In addition there are some additional useful tips below to observe to help ensure the meeting goes smoothly for all involved:
- Join early – up to 5 minutes before the meeting start time
- If you haven’t used Zoom before click the link and familiarise yourself with key features such as mute/unmute
- Have your video on unless you are experiencing connection issues
- Find a quiet space without interruptions / background noise
- A plain background is best – avoid backlight from bright windows
- Good lighting on your face will help people see you clearly
- Adjust your camera to be at around eye level if possible – especially take note of the angle of your laptop screen if using the built-in camera.
- Mute your microphone when not talking
- Try to avoid talking over / at the same time as others
- Be aware you are on camera and avoid doing other tasks.
