We have been chasing local councils through-out April concerning grants for members without business rates. Today after emailing a council on 28th April they have responded today 28th May-
"We can consider people who are not ratepayers, under the Discretionary Business Grant Scheme"
I have also just submitted a similar application with Eastleigh for Hamble area after some great support from Federation of Small Businesses
This is nationwide under this process.
The down side I have been told they will accept applications up to 7TH JUNE 2020 ,
Please visit your local authority and submit a claim for a grant under this scheme if you fell outside other grants ASAP.
Regards Ian
