This email marks the end of our regular Thursday evening Shout Outs for the 2020 Cookie season. Thank you for all your amazing efforts, large and small, that made this year’s Cookie Program a success!

Extra Instant Rewards
Do you have any extras of the instant reward squishy keychains after giving them out to your troop? We need your help! We still have some girls who are waiting on some of their rewards, particularly squirrels (280 packages) and rabbits (160 packages).
If you have extra items and are able to return them to a GSGI office, we are happy to take them back. Our offices are currently closed, but you can drop them off in a box or bag outside our doors. Please call or email if you’re dropping off an instant rewards return, so we can make sure a staff member can collect the delivery as quickly as possible.
You can also mail them to Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, 10715 Hickman Road, Des Moines IA 50322.
Curious how this program works? As Girl Scouts, we use our resources wisely! For example, the number of squirrels that went out to troops is about 35% higher than the number of girls who typically reach that level. Ordering enough for all cookie sellers wouldn’t be a great use of resources, but that does mean we count on your to help move items around – of course, that has been more difficult than usual due to the pandemic this year.

Girl Rewards are Shipping!
We are excited to announce that rewards will begin shipping to girls by the end of this month, and we anticipate that girls will receive their shipments by the end of June. If a financial shortage form was submitted for a girl, her rewards items will be held until the shortage is paid.
Tech items: iPad and laptop rewards will not be included in the shipment with other items. Girls who selected those rewards will receive a separate communication about shipping and delivery.
Adventureland tickets: girls who selected two tickets to Adventureland at the 700+ package level will receive those tickets included in their rewards shipments.
If a girl has not received her rewards items by July 15, please email info@gsiowa.org.

Cookie Dough for 700+ Sellers
Hey, super sellers! We are so sorry – when we added in additional reward choices at the 700+ level due the cancellation of 700 Club event, we had an error in Smart Cookies, eliminating the $12 Cookie Dough earned by girls at 700.
This additional $12 will be automatically added back to the Cookie Dough accounts for girls at that level by the end of June. Thank you for your patience.

CEO Party emails – were sent on May 14, to all girls who earned this reward.
Cookie Dough emails - were sent on May 21, directly to families.
Troop Experience Rewards emails – were sent on May 22, to troops that earned the Mud Run, 400+ Adventures, and/or Troop Camp with additional information and contingency plans.
Virtual Cookie Return directions – will be sent tomorrow, May 29, to troops that submitted Virtual Cookie Returns.
