Call for Proposals: Innovative Technology Demonstration Projects

IC-IMPACTS is calling for Innovative Technology Demonstration Project proposals on an ongoing basis, relevant to one of IC-IMPACTS’ three themes of safe and sustainable infrastructure, integrated water management, and public health and disease prevention. IC-IMPACTS is especially inviting proposals within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

HQP Leadership Awards

The HQP Leadership Awards are dedicated to supporting university students in achieving strategic goals, such as developing a research workshop or industry partnership or running a university-level course.

We encourage applicants to consider hosting online alternatives during COVID-19.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Registration is OPEN for IC-IMPACTS Annual Research Conference and 3MT Competition

Dates: August 6-7, 2020.
In light of COVID-19, IC-IMPACTS will host the Annual Research Conference online this year.

The conference will spotlight new technologies, demonstration projects, and approaches aiding in the growing demand for smart and clean economies. There will also be an opportunity for participants to discuss the shared goals of Canada and India’s innovation and commercialization agendas. We strongly encourage students to sign up for the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition.

Weekly HQP Webinars

The Student Engagement Committee is organizing weekly webinars in the three themes of Integrated Water Management, Public Health, and Safe and Sustainable Infrastructure (in collaboration with UBC's SIERA Group). The webinars are hosted weekly on Zoom.
