Spend Time With People Who Support Your Goals
Sometimes we get involved with people who don't want the best for us, or worse, don't understand what's best for us. As we make our way into recovery, it's essential to spend time with people who make you feel good about yourself. People who want to shame or embarrass you are no longer appropriate people for your life. Stop looking for love in the wrong place and stop looking for friendship from people who aren't capable. Find the ones who make you feel safe and secure and will support your recovery and goals.
