Reopening Information from Pastor Chris

Earlier today, Pastor Chris sent out information outlining Grace's process for returning to in-person worship.  Click here to read the information.  The email included a short survey for you to give your response to this new reality and to let us know your willingness to volunteer in making in-person worship services happen at Grace.  If you have not taken the survey, you can access it here.

The new Grace Members and Friends Directory is being created!

The Grace office staff is currently collecting information for a new photo directory.  Volunteers have been calling those in our database to verify contact information and ask if they wish to be a part of the new directory.  If you have not been contacted and wish to be a part of this directory call the Grace office at 714-899-1700 or email Hello@Gracehb.org  so your contact information can be updated and you can be included.

Those in Need
Covid-19 Relief Fund

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”  Hebrews 4:16

Anyone within the Grace community who expresses the need for assistance may be directed to complete a benevolence request form and submit that form to Pastor Chris. This includes members and active attendees of Grace as well as those who are part of the school community.  Pastor Chris and the executive committee of the church council will review each request and respond based on the need and the ability to meet the need.  In every consideration, prayer and discernment from the Holy Spirit will be consistent as each opportunity to assist will only be fruitful if they are Christ centered. We will maintain confidentiality to those who need help.

The Benevolence Request Form as well as additional information regarding the fund are available on the Grace website GraceHB.org/thoseinneed.

Remember our Virtual Coffee Hour on Sundays at 9:30am!
We want to make sure to be staying connected even while we're isolated. So, we've started up a virtual coffee hour using Zoom (it's a video conferencing app). If you want to join us, make sure to install Zoom before this Sunday: Then, on Sunday at 9:30am, visit gracehb.org/coffeehour to join the video call! We'll let you in to the meeting and enjoy the time together. Even if you have technical issues this first week, don't give up! We are all learning new ways to stay connected.

Blessings to you,
Grace Staff
