More impressive than a monstera
Our guest contributor, Alice Glare, dazzles us again with her green thumb. This time she's talking about indoor plants, but it's not what you might think!

We knead you!
Do you appreciate bread puns? Do you like working with people and, most importantly, do you love food? Then you might be what we're looking for! Our in-person events are taking a rest, but there's still plenty of opportunities to rise to the occasion as a Chapter Coordinator for Sydney or Brisbane. Wanna roll with us?

We're eggstremely eggstatic
...To introduce our newest board member, Alecia Wood! After spending a few years working and studying abroad, she returns to Australia and to YFM (once upon a time, she was a coordinator!), and we're super-yolked for her return.

Help us preserve our community
This year has been a little sour, but we're working to turn 2020's lemons into something real sweet. At YFM, our passion is to share food, knowledge and skills, and provide a safe space for young people to tackle the big issues. With your help friend, we can continue to develop digital content and maintain our online platforms. If you live in Australia, this end of financial year is the perfect time to make a tax-deductible donation - do you have a few dollars or more to spare?

And before you go, let's be frank(furt)
We've taken on fun new food projects with our newfound home-time (we see you naming your sourdough starters!); buuut it hasn't all been beautiful and delish success stories, has it? From burnt apple tarte tatin to wonky sausage rolls - cooking boo-boos are valuable in sharpening our skills and inevitable as we frequently feed our fams. The YFM National Leadership Team has had some food fuckups since we've hunkered down, but we're not ashamed of our game! Show us your own by sharing your photo and story on social media (remember to tag @yfmaustralia and use #foodfuckups, so we can find it!)
