Kent International Jamboree

30th July – 6th August 2022

Due to the ongoing uncertainties regard Coronavirus COVID-19, specifically in the UK and more widely around the world, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Kent International Jamboree. This situation has led us to reschedule Kent International Jamboree to 30th July – 6th August 2022.

The safety and wellbeing of our participants, leaders, staff, contractors and supporters is our number one priority and given the ongoing concerns about the pandemic, the KIJ management team considered it unwise to hold such an international gathering during 2021. Additionally, the unknown extent of travel requirements for our international participants and concerns attending a large mass gathering just a year after the initial outbreak also influenced our decision. The opportunity to meet and interact with an international community is at the heart of our proposition, and whilst disappointing, we feel it is the right decision to postpone in order to maintain both the quality and unique format of KIJ as a truly International Jamboree experience whilst, delivery fun, adventure and friendship.

We will be updating social media channels over the coming weeks and will be making some exciting announcements later this year about our run up to KIJ22.

There will, no doubt, be significant disappointment not having KIJ21 but we hope there will also be understanding in the decision we have taken. We will open our booking system in September and trust with the continued support and commitment of those attending we can keep you positively informed of our plans for an amazing jamboree in 2022.
