Happy Friday Everyone:

Here are six succinct items for you today:

First, our First Colony campus is reopening for in-person worship next Sunday, June 7. If you plan on attending, please ensure you read and re-read our phase one guidelines found here. The reopening is on a limited basis and I am asking you to honor our protocols for the benefit of everyone. It’s also important you know what you can and cannot expect.

Second, just because we are reopening does not mean you have to be here in person. I am asking you to suspend the “if the doors are open, then I am there” mindset. Please thoroughly evaluate yourself and your family as you read the guidelines and make a wise decision for all concerned. Feel free to enjoy church Online for as long as needed.

Third, if you haven't done so already, take a moment to fill out our church reopening surveyYour feedback will help better prepare us for the reopening. It is a super quick survey. If you answer “no” to the first question then you are done. If you answer “yes” or "not sure" then two more questions will pop up. Why don’t you respond to this survey as soon as you finish this Enote?

Fourth, this Sunday is Pentecost Sunday and as we conclude our TIMEOUT series we will look at the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, promised to all believers.

Fifth, Kyle Strickland from our staff is leading a new Online class at 10:00am on Sundays called Online Conversations. Everyone, whether in Houston or not, is welcome. Kyle is a fantastic teacher and he is walking through selections from the gospel of Luke where Jesus taught his disciples at pivotal points in their spiritual walk. Some Sundays will also include book reviews and interviews. Join the class via YouTube here.

Sixth, on Sunday, June 14 we are hosting a food drive for the Second Mile Mission Center. Second Mile is one of our ministry partners and they have served over 115,000 people since COVID-19 relief efforts began. There are still Fort Bend families in need and we can make a difference. Bring the listed items below to the building on July 14 between 8:00am-3:00pm. There will be large boxes labeled with each item found below on the front porch main entrance of our building. Just place your items in the right box and you are done. Thanks for making a difference!

Here are the needed items:

  • Soup
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Pinto Beans
  • Peanut Butter
  • Rice
  • Pasta/Dry Noodles

All God’s very best to you my friends,
Ronnie
