What's new in the BCWBS Office

It is National Accessibility Week.  Let's celebrate by thanking all of our facility partners, sport program partners and our amazing members and clubs for all they do, everyday, to deliver such amazing programs for us to participate in. #AccessibleCanada

The Richmond Olympic Oval is celebrating National Accessibility Week, by showcasing adapted training programs this week as part of their OVAL FIT schedule.

For any athletes looking for additional adapted strength and conditioning programs, Steve Ramsbottom with the Performance Institute offers wheelchair training programs.  Check them out!   Steve is also hosting Thursday morning work-outs as part of our Let's Play Virtual Session which run until June 19th.  Email info@letsplaybc.ca to sign up for one of these too.

BCWBS is still continuing to monitor the information provided by public health officials and is in regular contact with viaSport BC and Wheelchair Basketball Canada as we move towards establishing guidelines for Return to Sport.  As soon as we have additional information and an approval of our Return to Sport plan, we will circulate to all of our clubs.
