ANNOUNCEMENTS

Youth Group Summer Plans

  • Zoom Meetings for the whole group: Once a month on the first Wednesday monthly (6/3, 7/1, and 8/5) at 6:30 p.m.
  • Possible in-person smaller group gatherings: Contingent on developments with the spread of COVID-19, smaller groups that are yet to be formed could gather in person on the third Wednesday of the month (6/17, 7/15, 8/19). If smaller gatherings take place, they will follow safety guidelines (i.e. social distancing, masks, in open spaces, parks, etc.). Parents, of course, make the final decision on youth participating in these events.
Feel free to let the youth group leaders know if you have any questions or concerns.

Praying for You
We realize that 8 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday does not work for all to join in the prayer time. If you have specific matters that you would like to include in the group prayer time, please email Eileen and she will be happy to share these items with the group: eogorman@ncfstl.org.

Sunday Morning Worship Service
10:30 a.m. Live Streamed

Our Sunday morning worship service will be live streamed on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. on the New City South YouTube Channel. Song lyrics and Scripture readings for the May 31 service can be found here.

Free Dinner Meals Available for 18 Years and Under: Grab and Go
3:30 to 5 p.m. // Monday through Friday // at the church building
Free meals are available for children 18 years or younger every weekday and are being distributed outside of our church building. They are meant for people in our church community and the broader local community. Please spread the word to anyone who would be served by this ministry. The meals are pre-packaged and there are two meals per package. Meals can also be dropped off at homes in cases where it is not possible for an adult to pick up. To coordinate a drop-off, please contact Kristen Flores (kristen@ncfstl.org).

Multi-Church COVID-19 Relief Fund
New City South is joining with local churches in our denomination (Presbyterian Church in America) to pool financial resources for a collective COVID-19 Relief Fund. There are two reasons for this fund:
  • to help you if you are unemployed or have lost income due to COVID-19,
  • to give a place to share financial resources that God has given you.

If you need financial help, please contact Deacon Administrator Rachel Houston rhouston@ncfstl.org and she will help you on next steps for accessing this fund.

To give a gift online, go here and put "Multi-Church Relief Fund" in the memo box OR mail a check to the main church administrative office with "Multi-Church Relief Fund" in memo line (NCF, 1142 Hodiamont Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63112)

Tithes and Offerings
Tithes and offerings are still needed as we continue to serve the church and community during this time. If you are able to keep giving, checks can be mailed to the church's central administrative office with "New City South" in memo line (New City Fellowship, 1142 Hodiamont Ave, St. Louis, MO 63112) or you can give online through the church website.

Give Offering Online
Restore St. Louis, the outreach arm of New City Fellowship that oversees tutoring, food ministry, work day, Freedom School and more, is experiencing financial pressures. If you would like to give a special gift to Restore St. Louis or one of its ministries, please use this link.

When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 2:1-4
