Rest assured that the email you received from the North Pacific Union/Northwest Adventists on Wednesday, May 27 at 4pm (Mountain Standard Time) is not spam, but an opportunity for everyone to join the Northwest Adventists e-newsletter as well as other conferences newsletters you may be interested in.

We also wish to warn you of scam emails. Our Montana Conference staff received an email impersonating a team member to request the purchase of e-gift cards for members in need. Below you will find three  articles explaining how to avoid compromising information. If you doubt the validity of an email message, we suggest to do a verbal check with the person. You can also use your cursor to hover over the name of the person to see the email address being used.

Spam/Hacking Solutions
This article explains how to avoid being the victim of impersonation emails (emails pretending to be from someone you know), ransomware (emails, websites or internet programs that can install software on your device to access data), and/or phishing (scam calls or emails attempting to obtain personal information).
