We're opening soon for shows and classes, with precautions in place to protect everyone. Visit our website for more information.

Classes start again this month.

Our class sizes have always been limited in size to give the best training.

Saturday, June 20th 11-2pm
or
Wednesday, July 1st 6:30-9:30pm

In this class students will learn the fundamental tools necessary for improv.

They will learn the benefits of working as an ensemble by building skills in collaboration, support, listening and saying yes to the possibilities of anything.

Featured Performer: Brady Ireland

Brady has had to dive deep into his creative outlets expressing himself with music by way of playing his guitar, as well as practicing DJ sets. He has made some satirical and comedic videos which have been fun to share online, and even funnier to create.
Humor has helped to keep him sane throughout all of this uncertainty just as it has helped him through most of his life. He has tried to treat this time as a gift, despite it feeling like a overly dramatic motion picture no one wanted to be in.

See what he's been working on.

Birds and Broads

Cast: Jacque Arend and Liz Hutchman

Starting as a one-night-only performance, Birds & Broads have now been performing together for four years. They focus on a single location scene, creating a strong relationship at the top after which they may or may not explore the other characters who inhabit that space. Their shows bounce from being utterly hilarious to edge-of-your-seat engaging.

Featured Performer: Emili Gross
In May of 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, there was a puppet jam via Zoom with Second Beat Improv Theater and a new star sprouted! Patsy the People's Potato was born in a creative boom; she's a talkin' tater that loves to cook!

Patsy's mission statement: For everyone to come together, crack up and get cookin' America! Join her in her comedic culinary adventures on her very own show: "What's cookin' in the Kitchen with Patsy?"

Follow Emili and Patsy on their YouTube page.

Displacers

Cast: Chris Hooper, Eric Storie, Rick Grove, Sam Haldiman and Sara Palmer with accompanist Chad Michael Lawson

The Displacers have been performing the long-form signature format the Harold for five years. They perform with a high energy and create a rich cast of characters that will keep you talking about their show for days. It's no use trying to explain the show to a friend. Tell them they just need to be there.
