Welcome to another edition of Calvary Hill HOME Church! As grateful as we are for this venue enabling us to stay connected, our prayer is that this will be among the last few home church newsletters we will need to share as Pastor Brent referenced in this past Wednesday's video!
Last Sunday was the conclusion of a great teaching series, "Outstanding". This week, Pastor Brent invited missionaries Brian and RaQuel Correia to help us learn of how some of the Kingdom Builders funds are being put to use:

This Week's Prayer Emphasis
Don't forget to join us, along with other churches worldwide for a time of prayer each day at 7:14am and 7:14pm taken from the verse, 2 Chronicles 7:14. Will you join us in prayer this week specifically for our missionaries who are trying to navigate through the complex restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 concerns? Please pray for wisdom, and protection. Thanks for praying, everyone!
Thank you so much to all those who have been donating toward our $42,140 Kingdom Builders Plan in addition to your regular tithes and offerings! Our prayer has been to be able to meet this goal for 2020 in spite of not being able to meet for services during this time. We look forward to making an eternal difference around the world as well as close to home.

United States
- $5,000 - Teen Challenge: provides 2 beds
- $2,500 - ForDignity: 2,500 “Shine” books given in safe-houses and in the women’s prison systems in Philly, South Jersey, Mississippi ("Shine" is the most requested book in the prison system outside of the Bible)
- $1,000 - Chi Alpha Retreat (strategic retreat for growth and university campus evangelistic planning)
Global
- $5,000 - Missionary couple to the Middle East (names to remain confidential for safety)
- $5,000 - Latin America - Missionaries Brian and RaQuel Correia: Calvary Hill hopes to purchase the land for a church planting project in Columbia in an area riddled with terrorism and high drug trafficking
- $5,000 - Africa - Calvary Hill hopes to renovate a church in Burundi (3rd poorest nation in Africa) bringing it up to code so the government won’t close them down (literally saving a church); no Bible schools in Burundi; General Supt, Pastor Jerome Ndayisaba, is desperately trying to build the church there; could actually build a church there for $10,000
- $5,000 - Europe - Missionaries Mike and Ana Dascalescu are bringing the gospel to cities on the Eastern border (many Turkish there); extremely poor; rock goes deep into their soil and there is no water; poverty is overwhelming; church members are baptized in so little water they can't get fully wet; water brings life, hygiene, prosperity, and health; the Dascalescu's are planting churches and hope to dig wells; Calvary Hill hopes to help purchase a well-digging machine to dig multiple wells! Total cost of the machine is $25k
- $5,140 - Asia - Mission of Mercy: Calvary Hill hopes to give 10,000 meals, 3 children to receive cleft palate surgery, 2 children to receive a full year of leukemia treatments
- $1,000 - Speed the Light - Primarily towards Convoy of Hope and water wells in Africa
- $5,000 (plus all donations made towards Kingdom Builders during the month of April) - Emergency disaster relief due to the COVID-19 pandemic
- $2,500 - Marketing into our community letting them know we are here for them
70 (Calvary Hill giving units) x $50 /mo. = $3,500 x 12 = $42,000. Let's do this!
