Booster Club June 2020

Praise:

It seems that Kansas and Nebraska people have been connecting with the MWD churches online Sunday worship services. Most are reporting many more viewers than previous normal Sunday morning attendance.
ZOOM has kept many essential meetings happening... thankful for today's technology.
For several MWD churches, giving has increased.
Many are attempting to make their "new normal" a "better normal".

Prayer/Major Ministry Dates:

The coronavirus uncertainty has canceled many planned June activities, both local and national, both with our communities and churches. MWD churches are beginning to schedule worship and group activities, but most of my meetings are still by phone and ZOOM.

June 1: Ministry Clarity Day (This is a day of extended devotion and interacting with God about the MWD ministry; evaluations of previous work, present needs, and future plans.)

June 20: The TEAM 4:18 run in North Platte has been canceled.

June 27-28: Participating and preaching at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship's (EFC, Winfield, KS) 50th anniversary celebration.

I will be planning a face-to-face with the MWD Board Chairman, Pastor Dave Ballast (Living Water EFC, Oskaloosa, KS), addressing "big picture" needs of the MWD.
The MWD Ministry Staff: Pastors Kerry Relihan, Abdel Gonzalez, Phil Green, Lige Reed, Mike Sechler, and I will continue connecting via ZOOM meetings.
Do pray for some of the MWD churches who are struggling financially.
Pray that God will continue to "make good" (Rom. 8:28) out of the coronavirus pandemic.
Pray for the many ReachGlobal missionaries and other MWD church-supported missionaries as hey cope with COVID-19 - some are on lock-down and without food supply.
