Maintaining a Work-Life Balance during COVID - 19
Congrats on finishing Spring 2020 strong! With COVID-19 affecting our everyday lives, it has been rough for everyone to maintain a work-life balance. So, we have dedicated this article to you…to help you get back your home-life and work-life. This newsletter features tips to maintain a work-life balance and upcoming events we're hosting this summer, to help you stay focused on your career development

Maintaining a Work-Life Balance:
When working from home, try to maintain normalcy of your "usual" work schedule as much as possible.
  1. Make schedule for your work-day, house cleaning, family and me-time.
    • Have a set time when you will start and end your work day and when you will take your breaks.
    • If you have pets, they'll desire all of your time if you're at home. Use your breaks to spend time with your pet and take them for walks, if applicable.

Member Highlight

Every month we are going to feature a member of BGWN. This month we are highlighting our former President, Korene Davis.  Korene is a BGWN superstar and she was vital in the re-branding of NAWMBA to BGWN.

Our current board is very grateful to Korene and the former board for their efforts in making the transition as smooth as possible and continuing to schedule beneficial events for BGWN members.

About Korene:
This fall will mark Korene's last semester in the MBA program at BAUER. Korene is looking forward to continuing her career in accounting. In addition to working full-time, Korene teaches ZUMBA classes and she offers one online, Wednesdays @ 5:15pm!

We asked Korene how she maintained her sanity before COVID19 and in our new normal...click here to hear about Korene's strategy!
