The 50th anniversary of our 1970 graduation ceremony from Ramona is June 17, three days from now. If you noted in my previous email a couple of weeks ago, I promised to send out another email later that week to schedule some more video conferences for ongoing virtual reunions. Sorry, I didn't do that...
So for starters, we'll have our next video conference on that actual 50-year anniversary. Here are the details:

I've set this link up for recurring meetings that we can use anytime in the future. If you haven't used Zoom before, click the link above anytime before the meeting to download the software to your computer or portable device. If you'd like to try it out beforehand, call or text me at the number at the end of this email and I'll schedule a one-on-one session with you.
There may be more people participating than can be efficiently managed (more than 40 participants makes it difficult for everyone to interact meaningfully), so I have ideas for subsequent smaller sessions that focus on specific interests, such as:
- Attended Chemawa
- Attended Sierra
- Didn't attend junior high in Riverside
- Pep (Cheerleaders, Pom Pon, Flag, Drill Team, etc.)
- Boys' Sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball, Cross Country, Swimming, Wrestling, Track, Tennis, Golf, etc.)
- Girls' Sports (whatever sports girls did in the 60s)
- Vocal Music (Concert Choir, Mixed Chorus, Madrigals, Girls Ensemble)
- Instrumental Music (Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band)
- Theater/Dance
- Student Government
- Back Gate Crowd
- Honor Students
- Industrial Arts
- Visual Arts
- STEM (Science, Math, etc.)
- Literary (Echo, RamPage, Aries, etc.)
- Didn't graduate
- Graduated early or elsewhere
- ... and other topics of interest (suggest one here)
I'll put a poll together to gauge interest, and categories with at least five people interested who can get together at the same time will have at least one video conference session to reconnect.

And as a reminder, we've gotten a good start on collecting "now" photos to combine with your school picture from 50+ years ago - over 40 people have submitted their photo so far, and the results are available on our group Facebook page (must sign in to Facebook to view). My hope is to have over 100 photos submitted so that we can develop a 50-year commemorative book for free distribution. Please email me a relatively recent, uncropped photo of you from the waist up for inclusion in this project.
