My favourite displays using umbrellas!

I've used umbrellas oodles of times in display, and then came across some fantastic ones that I'm going to share with you.  all from Instagram posts.
It seems really appropriate since June in Vancouver has seemed
to rain more than usual and with Covid19 still keeping us separated the message on this top photo seems right 'en point'.

All you need is some light weight fishing line or
some creative mannequin hand-holding.

CHECK THESE OUT!

This table presentation is perfect.  Everything is easily reachable, not too much product, great colour scheme, and a 'theme' .
You know I love 'runways' of mannequins.  How perfect is this one?
This one was done for Dianes lingerie a few years back. Kamila Gougain, owner of Visual Display Services Inc., and a pattern-maker as well, made the see-through coats with black satin ribbons.  The clear umbrellas were quite pricey at $50.00 each, but I loved how well they worked with the message of "Bras you want to show off..." .
The photos above had a great window message.
"A whole new perspective on plus size fashion"
Suzanne Bell's Fashions
Having fun with the positioning of the umbrellas reinforced the message. No product was used in the window.  These were children's size umbrellas purchased for about $3.00 each, and were successfully used numerous times.

I am glad that we're slowly opening up retail. It's scary but I know that everyone is working hard to keep us all safe.  For me, it's business as usual, with Zoom type consultations and even distanced visits.
I'd love to work with you!
On a personal note...I am now 3 weeks post knee replacement surgery.  You'll laugh but I got a call from the surgeons office saying that they had an opening the 'next day', and did I want it?  I panicked and said "no".  Then I called my nurse daughter Stacy, who immediately gave me 'hell', and said "Call them back".  I did, and they were on lunch break for an hour and a half.  I thought "YEAH", it'll be gone! but it wasn't.  I am doing well! Working my physio program faithfully and have even managed to take Forrest for a short walk.
The staff on my ortho ward at Surrey Memorial Hospital was amazing, and I am so grateful.

I love your feedback and that you share my posts with others.  If you have any questions you'd like me to tackle, please let me know.

KEEP WELL and ENJOY THE MOMENTS!
