Parents,
The NBR Board heard you loud and clear in your feedback. Opening day is Sunday 6/14/2020, however we wanted to give you a glimpse of some improvements.
1. Grandstand has several updates
a. 2 New Fans have been installed
b. New coat of paint
c. New Man doors installed and roll up doors painted
2. Field updates
a. Lights have been replaced on both fields making the playing safer
b. New Brick backstop installed on Logan
c. Sprinkler system updated and working
d. New rock installed for coaches’ boxes and around the
dugouts
e. Fields have been edged, and leveled to provide a better playing surface
3. 30 NEW SPONSORS!--Please patronize these companies
4. Batting Cages have been reinstalled on Emmerson
5. New Fence in Right field on Logan. The fence will be completely
replaced before the start of 2021 season.
6. New asphalt grindings have been put down in common areas to give better walking conditions from Logan to Emmerson
7. Picnic tables have all been painted and fixed
8. Bleachers
a. Bleachers on Logan have been pressured washed and cleaned
b. Wood Bleachers on Emmerson have been painted
c. Bleachers on Emmerson have had all weeds removed and asphalt grindings installed underneath for better surface
9. Tourney Machine is our new scheduling software and we will be using that as our rain out information going forward.
10. Credit Cards will now be taken at the concession stand!
The board has spent a ton of time listening to you and making improvements to provide a better experience for players and parents. If you see a board member give them a pat on the back and a thank you!
