Great news, Eagle! This past weekend Idaho moved into Stage 4 of the Idaho Rebound Plan. Stage 4 means that gatherings of any size can happen as long as social distancing and hygiene practices are maintained. In light of this great news, I want to talk about some events we have coming up that I hope you attend.
Coming up on Thursday, June 25th, is the first Gazebo Concert of the 2020 summer season. The band "Blues Addicts" will take the Gazebo Stage in Heritage Park at 6:30 PM. We recommend that you bring your folding chair or picnic blanket for the show. The Gazebo Concert is free. Also happening that night is the Eagle Art Walk hosted by Finer Frames, so there is two-for-one fun happening in Downtown Eagle!
The Eagle Business and Workforce Recovery Committee continues to work to promote and strengthen our local businesses. The newest effort is "Eat Shop Eagle," an all-Eagle vendor market presented in conjunction with Eagle Fun Days on Saturday, July 11th. If you run an Eagle-based business and would like to be a vendor, please apply on our website www.cityofeagle.org/1720/Event-Vendor-Application. The deadline to apply is by the end of the day today, June 15th.
So, please join me at the Gazebo Concert series next week and at Eat Shop Eagle in July!
