Howdy!

This week was release week! Not only did the core team release Gutenberg 8.3, there was also a WordPress 5.4.2 Security and Maintenance release. If you or your hosting company or Jetpack hasn't updated your site automatically, make sure you go to the WP-Admin Dashboard and update your software.

There is a reason why it's called a "Security" release and why the team back ported the updates to all previous version all the way back WordPress 3.7 installations that are still around in the wild.

So thrilled that we were scheduled, Eileen Violini, Carolina Nymark and Kjell Reigstad for our next Live Q & A on June 26 at 2pm EDT / 18:00 UTC. You can register here. We will have some demos and discussion about the Full site editing experience and how your themes can adopt/

Below you'll find more on the block editor release and beyond. Enjoy!

Wishing you some all the best for this weekend!

Yours, 💕
Birgit
