Update: Our previous newsletter neglected to mention the special topic of this Sunday’s online session. After guided mediation, Rachel Parrish will lead a discussion about the 14th Shamar Rinpoche, founder of Bodhi Path. We will share stories, discuss his legacy, and look at Karmapa’s recent reflection on the anniversary of Shamar Rinpoche’s parinivana (June 11th on the western calendar and June 5th this year on the lunar calendar).

Anyone who has participated in Bodhi Path has experienced his teachings and activity. Please join us in this reflection and appreciation, and to learn more about this great master.

In this issue:

  • Priority Registration Now Available for the Dharma Teacher Workshops during the June 20-21 Bodhi Path Online Event. Space is limited so reserve your spot now.
  • Rachel Parrish continues to lead Sunday Online sessions, with guided meditation and a discussion of Naragjuna's "Letter to a Friend."
  • Karmapa shares a teaching on the practice of non-violence in Buddhism.
  • Plus, additional online resources.

Workshops to be held June 20-21
registration deadline June 16

Priority Registration for the Dharma Teacher Workshops during the June 20-21 Bodhi Path Online Event is open now through Tuesday June 16 at 7:00 pm Central time. These workshops are small, interactive sessions organized by Bodhi Path Dharma Teachers from across North America.

Space is limited for each workshop, with a cut-off on the number of allowed registrations. Register early to secure your spot! Each teacher will offer a one-our workshop on Saturday at 2:30 and again on Sunday at 2:30 so you can experience a different teacher each day. Registration links are available at: http://www.bodhipath.org/online-mtg2020/.

The weekend event will also feature larger Keynote teachings from Jigme Rinpoche and Trinlay Rinpoche, and also a Dharma Teacher panel, which offer unlimited attendance.

All events are offered free of charge, with opportunities for participants to make offerings to support the program and the teachers.
