Innovation Agency newsletter 2020
June 2020 newsletter
Dear colleague,

We are all now working in different ways and many of us are learning to engage with each other in a virtual world rather than in person. Online meetings and events, which reduce travel time substantially, are giving us more time and many of us are questioning whether we will ever again travel hundreds of miles to a meeting which can just as effectively take place on our laptops.

Recently I attended four national and international events in a single day – previously I would have had to choose just one. Interestingly, we are finding that our networks are actually expanding with new relationships forged through our COVID-19 related activities, locally, nationally and internationally.

We miss seeing you in person; but we embrace the opportunity to bring in more partners to our discussions and to increasing our focus on the most urgent needs of our system.

Yours,
Liz

Dr Liz Mear
Chief Executive

Reset

The Innovation Agency and wider AHSN Network is a partner in NHS Reset, an NHS Confederation campaign to contribute to the public debate on what the health and care system should look like post COVID-19.

The aim is to recognise the sacrifices and achievements of the COVID period, rebuild local systems and reset the way we plan, commission and deliver health and care.
