ECOP Consistent Messaging Makes a Difference

Thank you for supporting and promoting the 9 Ways to Grow Healthy Colorado Kids consistent messaging initiative. Your efforts brought consistent messaging to all corners of Colorado and helped individuals and families change behaviors to those found most promising in preventing early childhood obesity.

The 9 Ways to Grow Healthy Colorado Kids initiative will wrap up at the end of September 2020 and be replaced with new strategies and health behavior initiatives. The subheading of future newsletters will not include the tagline "9 Ways to Grow Healthy Colorado Kids."

Despite the initiative ending, the information contained in the messaging materials remains accurate, effective, and based on scientific research.

The materials created are still available for download on the One Stop ECOP Shop and include print and digital handouts and posters, videos in English and Spanish, a newsletter template, and a social media toolkit.

We encourage you to continue promoting and integrating the messages with other initiatives (e.g., World Breastfeeding Month, Screen-Free Week) as appropriate for your organization.
