We hope everyone - your families, neighbors and loved ones - is safe and healthy.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the TCA was unable to hold its in-person monthly membership meetings in March, April and May. At this time, it is unclear when we may all be able to meet in person; therefore, the Executive Committee has decided to host virtual meetings until further notice.
The next general membership meeting will be held virtually via Zoom on June 30, 2020 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Please register at https://bit.ly/TCA-June-30.
This meeting will serve as the annual election of TCA officers as well as a discussion and adoption of bylaw changes.
Agenda
1. President’s Update - Marissa Valeri
2. Treasurer’s Update - Vincent Russo
3. TCA Annual Report - Marissa Valeri
4. Discussion and Adoption of Bylaw Changes

You may also print the form out and mail it with a check to TCA’s P.O. Box address.
Bylaw Changes
The Twinbrook Community Association Executive Board recommends several bylaw changes for the membership to consider. Notably, we recommend reducing our meeting frequency and adopting other operational flexibilities to respond to needs that came to light during the pandemic. The changes include:
Allow for electronic meetings of the Executive Committee. (Article V, Section 5.03)
Require general meetings at least quarterly, instead of 10 times a year, i.e., monthly with two exceptions. (Article VIII, Section 8.01)
Allow the Executive Committee to establish policies for absentee or electronic voting without prior approval of the general membership. (Article IX, Section 9.09)
Make membership effective for 12 months from time of payment instead of a calendar year, and discontinue prorating of dues. (Article III, Section 3.02)
Allow more flexibility for the Association to take positions on issues of concern to the community. (Article XI, Section 11.07)
Thank you for your support and your patience as we all work together to establish a new normal in a post-COVID-19 world. Please do not hesitate to hit reply to this email with any questions.
