Internationalizing Finnish Science: Building Sustainable Bridges to Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean (BRIDGES)
1. FinCEAL+ BRIDGES news:
a. The UniPID coordination unit will move from JYU to UH
Starting from the beginning of 2021, the UniPID coordination unit will be based at the University of Helsinki. In the spirit of UniPID's new strategy, aiming to strengthen the ownership of the network's member universities, the UniPID Board made the decision to appoint UH the new coordinator. b. The BRIDGES project will run until 31.12.2021
The FinCEAL+ BRIDGES project was granted a 1-year extension due to the disruption caused by the pandemic. More information of upcoming activities will be shared over the next few months in the UniPID and FinCEAL communication channels, stay tuned!
c. Changes in the FinCEAL+ BRIDGES team
Our long-term Asia coordinator Jarkko Mutanen is saying goodbye to the FinCEAL community at the end of June. Jarkko has been a member of the team since 2015, tirelessly advancing research collaboration and science policy between Finland and Asia and EU and Asia in a number of ways. d. FinCEAL Infobank: Add and edit project information, and create a researcher profile to showcase your expertise!
The FinCEAL Infobank is a multidisciplinary expert and project database including Finnish researchers' profiles as well as research and capacity building projects carried out by them on/in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.
We were recently told there is an error with the password reminder -tool in the Infobank. We apologize for the inconvenience - the problem has since been fixed, so you can now easily recover a forgotten password and edit your information. Find out more and log in/register here!
