OMGoodness.....it is nearly the middle of the year! Where has this time gone?
In this very uncertain world at present, now, more than ever, I am so grateful to have the peace and joy that my sewing gives to me, and many customers have expressed those same sentiments lately. For me, my handwork is calming.
So, with that in mind, I decided it was about time I added the latest months of Lucy Boston Blocks to the webshop. As you know, the Lucy Boston BOM is finishing at the end of the year....and that will mean I have been dutifully creating (more like happily sewing...lol), a beautiful block for the past 69 months so far....that's a few years!
Click on the photo to take a look at these latest beauties, you just might find that one or two might need to fly to your place for some calming sewing therapy....wink, wink. these little kits include the photo, papers, and fabric to create the block as pictured. if you haven't created one before, the only other item you will require is a 1" honeycomb template....and your EPP tools of course.

The gorgeous fabric range Super Bloom by Edyta Sitar has been very popular and so I decided to cut some special packs with F8's, and some FQ selections....that almost finishes the range, so there's a few end of bolt pieces too :)....and one, yes only one scrapbag from the range for one fast shopper...lol.

I had some excitement this past month when I was contacted by a shop in France interested in my Shiralee Elegance Quilt Pattern Kits!...oh my!...I am still pinching myself....who would have ever thought anyone in France would even see any of my designs...technology makes us a much smaller world than we think....let alone want to possibly run a BOM from my design. Needless to say I was doing happy dances for the first hour or so....then quickly panicking for a little while (the latest version of this quilt, currently running as the second round of this quilt as a BOM, hadn't been finished quilting!!!...oh noooo!!!), so then I was quilting myself silly all weekend...lol....do you know that deadline feeling?...well now I'm ecstatic as I have a finish on the quilt, a renewed pattern, and a beautifully re-vamped pattern kit...and a package of kits flew off to France on time...whew...
Although the BOM is all sold out, I have this lovely quilt in a pattern kit form with pattern and all papers/templates so you can create your own version of this pretty quilt...

I have been working on some secret sewing lately....all will be revealed soon....wink wink.....
