Black lives matter today, tomorrow, and every day. The Healthy Living Program stands in solidarity with the black community. We are committed to raising awareness and educating the FIU community on racial injustice and inequality.
- We’ve added an IG Live Stream session we hosted this month called Wellness and Activism to our IG TV and to our youtube channel. See below to view.
-Additionally, we’ve created a new program called Educate 2 Elevate, which is a Kahoot! game night to educate students on anything & everything having to do with racial injustice, inequality and the black experience in America.
We understand this is just the start in doing our part, and we remain open to ways we can continue to grow and improve for the better - TOGETHER. Because together, we can make a difference! So we want to ask: How can we do better and become a better ally? Email us at hlp@fiu.edu
The world is changing, don't be afraid to change with it- we encourage you to continue educating yourselves, having conversations with your families and friends, signing petitions, donating, protesting and voting!
We are here for you. We support you. We stand with you.
