Pastoral Ministry in COVID and Beyond
The Parish Ministry sub taskforce prepared this document to support your parish by providing ideas and resources for ministry during this unusual time. Additionally, you’ll find a Letter from Bishop Mueggenborg describing how the document was created and key areas your team should read.

Associated Catholic Cemeteries Update
Associated Catholic Cemeteries has implemented the following Covid-19 updates:
1. Graveside Committal Services: Up to 15 people from the immediate family may now be present at the service. All people at the graveside must wear masks excluding children 2 years of age or younger or those with a condition that does not permit them to wear a mask. Physical distancing must always be maintained. To encourage and support physical distancing no tents will be placed at the gravesite.

2. Soft-Opening: Effective Monday, June 15, 2020 the cemetery offices will be open to limited access by the public. While ACC still encourages arrangements be handled by phone, email, and outdoor meetings, up to two different groups of two people (four people maximum) may be allowed into the office by appointment. Each group of two people will be immediately escorted to an arrangement room so that no one is unattended in the lobby. The use of masks is required.

All Parishes are in Phase 2 Office Reopening
All parishes are now in Phase 2 for Office Reopening. (In King County, the 1.5 phase follows Phase 2 guidelines for Offices.) Click here to see the Governor’s Phase 2 Office guidance. Also, please note that all parish reopening plans must include office reopening in addition to Mass celebration.

New Control Mitigation Exposure Checklist
We have created a new checklist to support parishes as they are creating their reopening plans. Click here to access the checklist.

Reopening Plan Clarification
Once parish reopening plans are approved by the Dean, they must be sent to the
review team by noon every Thursday. The team will review the plans sent in that
week for the following weekend. Please continue to email all plans to
SeattleMass2020@seattlearch.org.
