Message from the Principal

We Made It

We made it! We have reached the end of another school year and though it was filled with interesting twists and turns, it was also abundantly filled with moments of joy, laughter, gratitude, grace, love, and faith.

One of my favorite sayings is, “To hope is to give yourself to the future.” As we move into summer and look towards next year, let’s focus on hope. Let’s give ourselves to the future. It is important to reflect on the past year - what did we learn? What did we do well? Where can we improve? - and then give ourselves to that work moving forward. I am filled with hope for what the future holds for all of us at ASB.

I hope each of you has a wonderful, relaxing summer with your families!

Thank you to our Graduating Families

As the year comes to an end we want to highlight our 22 graduating families. We are grateful for your impact on ASB and the legacy you have created.

Please extend a warm Bulldog welcome to our 41 new incoming families! We are so excited for the growth of our community and the future ahead.

The last self-regulation lesson of the year included a short survey that mimicked the one students completed before spring break. Once again, the survey asked students how they were feeling and about their experience and thoughts on digital learning. Click HERE to see the results of this survey in comparison to the previous results in April.

2019-20 Annual Fund

Thank you to all of our generous annual fund donors, because of your support we have reached our $350,000 goal to support operating expenses. If you have an outstanding pledge payment, please make sure to make your contribution before the end of our fiscal year, June 30th. Click HERE for online contributions.

Virtual Field Day

Students participated in a variety of fun and exciting activities chosen, created, and developed by the 7th grade class. A special thanks to 7th grade for all their hard work!

Camp ASB and KinderCamp

ASB is preparing to offer both Camp ASB and KinderCamp in Summer 2020. However, we are closely following the pandemic and the potential challenges that may arise in holding our camps. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

KinderCamp Session 1 is being moved to August. We will communicate more details to families soon.

Camp ASB will start on Monday, June 29th.

Athletics

Soccer and Cross Country

Registration for the 2020 soccer and cross country seasons is now open, click HERE. Registration for both of these sports will run through the summer and will close on Wednesday, August 7, 2020.

Assumption Parish

Join us each Sunday at 9:00AM for Mass. Mass is web streamed via the Assumption Parish Website as well as Facebook Live ( Assumption Catholic Church Seattle) and on the Assumption Seattle ROKU Channel.

If you would like to be added to the Assumption Parish email database there is a form located on the Assumption Parish website homepage.

Archdiocesan Catholic Appeal
At this time all Assumption Parish Families have received the Archdiocesan Annual Catholic Appeal mailing. This appeal supports over 64 ministries in the Archdiocese including Catholic Schools, CYO sports and camps, and Catholic Community Services. Participation in this appeal is one of the tenants for in-parish tuition and admission status. Please complete and send yours in right away.

Second Sunday Meals - June 14th
Thank you for your generosity! We have received several donations and will once again be supplying Dick's burgers for our diners. We will also be offering our sandwiches, chips, fruit and other easy to grab and go items from tables in the parking lot. If you are bringing food/supplies, please deliver to Lamb of God Church by 5:00 or arrange a drop off. Please click HERE . As always, thank you for providing food and fellowship to those in need in our community!

ASB Family Dance - Save the Date

Save the date for Friday, October 2nd from 6:00PM -8:00PM. Please plan on joining us for the ASB Family Dance to welcome everyone back for the new school year and meet our new families. The dance will be held in the Assumption Gym. More details will be provided as Fall approaches. If you have any questions about this event, please contact Holly Gray or Cat Burns.
