Working Groups Final Recommendations

Ivan Fernandez asked us to share the following important announcement:

The Maine Climate Council working groups again put in a great deal of time and effort during the month of May, informed by public input at meetings and stakeholder feedback, to refine and finalize their greenhouse gas emissions mitigation and climate change adaptation recommendations. Thank you to the many members of the public who took the time to observe these meetings and share their thoughts and suggestions; your input has been greatly valued in this process.

The working group chairs will present their final recommendations to mitigate Maine’s greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the effects of climate change over the two-part virtual MCC quarterly meeting on June 17th and 18th. The agenda for the meeting is posted on the Maine Climate Council website. We hope that you will join us at the meetings to observe this important step in the climate action planning process.

Please use the registration links below to RSVP for the June MCC meeting, which will also be recorded and made available afterward. You will need to register separately for each day; please do not forward your registration to others, as the link is unique to you.
