I welcome the opportunity to discuss with you how Flight Tax Systems can save you time and money. Flight Tax Systems is a web-based aviation tax software created and supported by aviation tax experts to assist owners, operators and tax professionals with tracking the tax-related activities of their aircraft. Failure to follow tax reporting rules can lead to loss of deductions and unnecessary tax expense. Flight Tax Systems is designed to assist with the required documentation and reporting, and tracks all business and non-business aircraft use according to IRS requirements.
SIFL (Standard Industry Fare Level) is the taxable fringe benefit charged to employees for non-business use of the company aircraft and is the only reporting method that satisfies the IRS, the FAA and the SEC reporting requirements. Additionally, IRS rules require companies to disallow aircraft costs, expenses, and depreciation from entertainment flights, called Cost Disallowance (reported as company deductions). Flight Tax Systems performs these required calculations and considers all of the complex nuances of the tax rules into the calculations. It eliminates the need for Excel tracking, which can be cumbersome and often times inaccurate.
The software also features State Tax Modules, Mixed Use adjustments, International SIFL flights, §280F testing, SEC Module, Active/Passive tracking, Cost Center allocations, a data import feature and more.
