Dear ABAN Member,

Angel investors play an increasingly important role in the economy, and in many countries constitute the largest source of external funding in newly established ventures. They are increasingly important in providing risk capital as well as contributing to economic growth and technological advances.

And Angel Investors contribute much more than just cash. They commonly have the industry knowledge and access to powerful networks that they pass on to entrepreneurs.

Building Africa is a team effort and business angels are moving towards the heart of the continent's future. Now more than ever we need to support each other and build platforms to elevate ourselves and our communities. Together, let us celebrate these angel networks who continue to strive through the COVID-19 crisis.
