Meet the Team!
New Deputy Youth County Commissioners
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Isobel Myers, Ryan Tudball and Mia Glyn-Jones as our Deputy County Youth Commissioners. They will all support our current County Youth Commissioners, Nirav Patel and Liam Starling in promoting the provision of Youth Shaped Scouting for our 17,000+ young people and 6,000 adult volunteers across Kent.
Isobel's role as Deputy County Youth Commissioner (Governance) will be to support the provision of young people on Executive Committees, Appointments Advisory Committees and Sub-Committees.
Ryan's role as Deputy County Youth Commissioner (6-14) will be to support youth shaped programmes and peer leadership in the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts sections.
Mia's role as Deputy County Youth Commissioner (14-25) will be to support youth shaped programmes and the Young Leaders' Scheme in the Explorers section as well as the provision for Top Awards in both the Explorers and Scout Network Sections.
County Youth Commissioners, Nirav Patel and Liam Starling said "We are really excited to have Isobel, Ryan and Mia on the team. They all bring huge amounts enthusiasm and creativity, and we look forward to working with them to meet the ambitious youth shaped goals that we have set out. By expanding our team, we are now able to reach out to all areas of Youth Shaped Scouting, and with the fantastic work that our 31 District Youth Commissioners are doing, we hope that this will allow us to develop Youth Shaped Scouting across the County in a more impactful way."
