We know this has been a very challenging few months and an even more challenging two weeks. To our youth: we want you to know we see you, we hear you, and we stand with you in solidarity. Black lives matter. We join many of our fellow organizations who have called for justice in the recent killings of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, and too many others. You may have seen the statement WCS made last week to show support for the Black Lives Matter movement. Our WCSEducation accounts also spoke up on Instagram and Twitter to affirm our commitment. WCS is committed to fighting against racism and racial injustice and to cultivating and elevating diverse voices in our communities. While there is still much work to be done, we can and will get there together.
