Greetings Artists:
This is the start of our 12th Week of the Lightchasers Painting Challenge. And as a bonus we will be spotlighting one of our Featured Artists this week in our email.
Thank you all for submitting your photos of your paintings. Each week we receive many emails from our members about how they love seeing all the paintings that you create to share with everyone. I don't think you realize how sending in your paintings to be posted in our email brightens up the day for many of our members and viewers.
Thank you again for participating.

Our weekly email was delayed because of a tie in voting for Best Painting of the Week. All the Board Members, who judge the challenge have commented on the difficulty of choosing just 1 painting as "Best".  This is a result of the great improvement in everyone's paintings since the start of the Challenge. Please feel complimented by the fact that you are indeed making it a very difficult job to
judge this Challenge.  A  2nd vote was taken and we finally have a Winner!
THE CHOICE FOR BEST PAINTING OF THE 11TH WEEK OF THE LIGHTCHASERS PAINTING CHALLENGE  IS:

"MAY MAGNOLIA"

This week we are SPOTLIGHTING our FEATURED ARTIST

"MORGAN SAMUEL PRICE"
WMorgan has graciously shared her time and many talents with our Lightchasers members for over 9 years now.
She was the Judge of our very 1st Paint Sarasota Paint Out and has continued to support the Lightchasers every year since then with her painting Demonstrations and Workshops.
She describes in the paragraph below how she is spending her time during this pandemic along with providing photos of her recent paintings for you to enjoy. Here is a link to her website for info at MorganSamuelPrice.com

"Our time together as a family has been rewarding and bonding. So many amazing things have come together, for me, my new husband and my son. All of us have enjoyed our time together, where as, I would have told you this closeness is going to drive me up a wall.
Well, surprisingly all of us are happy with our world.
I learned how to operate Zoom with the goal of establishing an ON-LINE STUDIO with sessions to work with artists who wish to further their skill level. My studio is set up with three to four camera’s at once as I teach and critique paintings. My mentoring program is up and off the ground. To really explain what I have been doing is to show you.
Here are just a few of the paintings I have done:
Many of these works are available!"
Thank You Morgan for sharing your thoughts and your amazing paintings with us. You are truly an inspiration to all in these uncertain times!
