Look What is on tap for the Final Evening of the Virtual Railway Modellers Meet of BC

We've got two more excellent clinic presentations to wrap up what has been a very successful Virtual Railway Modellers Meet of BC.  You won't want to miss Matthew Robson's clinic on the operations of the Southern Railway of British Columbia or Pete Steinmetz' clinic on weathering with Pan Pastels.  The fun starts June 11th at 7pm Pacific time.  

The Southern Railway of British Columbia - Matthew Robson

Matthew Robson has been with Southern Railway for well over a decade, starting as a trainman working his way up to conductor and engineer.  This has given him unparalleled access to the railway and it's day to day operations throughout the Lower Mainland of BC. 

Matthew will present his experiences and photography throughout his career.  He has always had a love affair for railroading and photography, and combined the two to create Elevation Media, his own railway documentary company.  This promises to be an entertaining presentation that will give a glimpse into the operations of a local "hidden gem".  Don't miss it. 

Weathering with Pan Pastels - Pete Steinmetz

Pete will take us through a live demonstration of weathering techniques for model railway equipment, buildings and more.  Pan Pastels have quickly become "must have" weathering supplies for model railroaders.  Pete will show you some of his tricks to getting the most from these versatile tools.  Pete has taken the best of these products and used them in model railroad weathering. With a little practice, you can get very realistic results too.  

Registration is Open for New Registrants

Once again we have opened registration to new registrants until noon on Tuesday June 9th.  If you have already registered for the meet then you are good to go.  If you have any friends who would like to take part in the Virtual Railway Modellers Meet of BC have them go to the registration page and sign up.  All it takes is your name and email address.  All registrants will have a link to the Zoom page for the clinics sent to them on Tuesday evening.  If you do not get a link for the Zoom meeting at that time, please contact the clinic coordinator <here>.

We'll be having the last set of clinics for the Virtual Railway Modellers Meet of British Columbia this coming Thursday, June 11th starting at 7pm Pacific time.  We're looking forward to the upcoming clinics, and we hope you will join us for another fun and enjoyable evening of railways and railway modelling.  We'll "see" you at the meet!
