Coronavirus (Covid-19) Equality Concerns
Coronavirus Update and Advice:

As of Mon 08 June 2020, there were 879 confirmed cases of COVID-19 or coronavirus in Fife.

Last week we asked you how you were feeling about the lifted lockdown restrictions going into Phases 1 and 2, here's what you said:
If you have any anxieties during the current lockdown or the path to the "new normal", let us know via our short concerns form here.
Fife Anti-Racism Campaign:

Do you want to speak up against racial injustice? Do you want to tell people how we could create a better and more equal society? Protests come in many forms. Instead of attending a mass protest, we ask you to share with us your views in a short video with hashtags #EqualFife and #BlackLivesMatter.

On our Facebook page we have lots of videos featured already, check them out here.

Equality Collective - Online Coffee and Chat sessions:

Our Coffee and Chat session is happening on Thursday at 11:00! This week we have Samantha talking to us about racism experienced by traveller communities and the impact it has, check out her bio below:

"Hi there! My name is Samantha Donaldson and I belong to Scotland's Traveller/Gypsy Community. Since reclaiming my Traveller culture, I have spoken out against anti-Traveller racism on a number of occasions.

In 2017 I also starred in a short film - a sense of identity - by charity HOTT (Heart Of The Travellers). In 2018 the film won a non print media award in from the Folklore Society.

As well as helping tackle anti-Traveller racism, I am passionate about educating others about Traveller culture, identity and traditions - especially on the harm caused by stereotyping."
