Father God,

We come to You today Lord asking for peace.  You are the Prince of Peace, and shalom is Your way; therefore, it should be our way as well.  Help us Lord to exhibit Your peace to those around us, to lead others to You, and to glorify You through our actions and words.  

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. - Isaiah 9:6

This world is experiencing chaotic unrest, and unfortunately there is nothing new under the sun, and what also is nothing new is that You are in charge Lord!  We rest in the truth of Your peaceful reign in our hearts now, and look forward to a time when You will physically bring the new heavens and new earth, ushering in an everlasting time of peace.  Oh what confident hope You give us Lord!  Thank You!  We are too often unmindful of eternity with You, and our flesh draws us to be caught up in worldly affairs, and we start to fear and worry.  Help us Lord to stay near You, under Your wings, with Your strength and sovereignty firmly planted in our hearts and minds.

We lift up the ministry of Genesis Design to You Lord, asking for solutions to problems, doors to be opened, and clarity of actions needed.  

We praise You for touching the hearts and minds of those who have generously given to the ministry, that Your word may be laid out in a way of teaching children, and adults, Your way for us!   

All honor, and glory, and power are Yours, and we praise You and ask these things in Your dear, sweet precious name Lord Jesus!
