Over the next few weeks, we will be discussing Biased: Uncovering the Hidden Prejudice That Shapes What We See, Think, and Do by Dr. Jennifer L. Eberhardt, PhD. Informed by Dr. Eberhardt’s personal experience, the book offers scientific and investigative insight into unconscious bias and offers a way forward.
Book club groups will meet Tuesdays (June 23rd and 30th at 8 p.m. EST) and Wednesdays (June 24th and July 1st at 6 p.m. EST). Discussion for each group's first meeting will focus on parts 1 and 2--"What Meets the Eye" and "Where We Find Ourselves". If you would like to join us,register hereand indicate which time you prefer to meet.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to discuss our first book. The virtual book club has been another great way to build community and we look forward to approaching the new selection together.
