We know that you have been waiting for a while to hear this news. Beginning June 8, 2020, contact-free curbside service for library items will be available at the Main Library.

If you would like to participate in the curbside pick-up service holds, please take the following steps:

1. Log into your library account 
2. Place holds on items that you would like or cancel any holds you no longer want.
3. Once you have received notification that your hold is available, follow this link and select a pick-up time that works for you. (You will also find this link on the holds page at library.cityofalbany.net)

If you have any difficulty carrying out the three steps above, please call the library at 541-917-7582. The staff will be happy to assist you, or you can check out our FAQ page here.

Also, please feel free to return your previously checked-out library items to either of Albany Public Library location. 

We appreciate your patience as we do our best to respond to the COVID-19 crisis in a responsible way. The safety of our staff and patrons is our highest priority.

While it is not out of the picture that we will be able to have you back in the library at some point during Phase 2, this curbside option helps us be flexible and get materials out to you.
