Dear Friends, Due to the Covid-19 public health emergency, our doors have been closed to the public since March 18th. We have been doing our utmost to be of service to the community throughout this difficult time, and members of the NCVRC family have done a remarkable job of supporting each other and sticking together. We are by no means out of the woods yet, and we must remain cautious and vigilant to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone. But hopefully we are through the worst. And with that, we are excited to announce that we will be reopening - albeit on a limited basis with strict protocols and procedures around distancing, Personal Protective Equipment, and cleaning in place - this Wednesday June 10!

Supports will be available inside as space and protocols allow. We also have picnic tables and other outdoor seating and spaces we can utilize as necessary and desirable.
I would be remiss if I didn't share that we have felt the sting of tragic loss, some as a result of Covid-19 and some not. We lost a dear friend and supporter to Covid, but we also lost a long-time volunteer over the last few months, someone who gave a great deal of herself to the center over the years. I think it's safe the say that the center helped change her life and she changed the center for the better. There have been other losses this year in our community that hit us close to home. And every one of them, every person who doesn't get to fully realize the benefits of a fulfilling, healthy, and happy life hurts. So we move forward, always endeavoring to do all we can so that no person, no family, and no community feels the pain of such loss. We continue to grow and evolve as a place of healing and hope and inspiration, and I am confident that the best is yet to come from NCVRC and for our community. We will face our challenges and struggles head on, together. And we will emerge from our trials stronger than ever.
As always, we are here for the community. You can reach members of the staff as follows:
